Soms zijn er zo van die momenten waarbij ik totaal mezelve kwijt ben. (Zoals Thom York het bezingt in Karma Police 'for a minute there, I lost myself' en ik begrijp hem volkomen).
Ik zie mijn drum staan en denk bij mezelve 'gooien daarmee, smijt het van u af kind'. Maar wanneer ik dan denk 'djuje dat heeft me wel wat gekost' verander ik snel van gedacht, want dat is het ook niet waard.
Met ceedees smijten, boeken uit het rek, of wat dan ook is nu ook niet echt een optie. Want het is niet dat ik nadien met plezier alles wil opruimen uiteraard. Ah nee.
Mijn hoofd tegen de muur slaan is veel te pijnlijk. Zo ook sjotten tegen eenders wat van straffe kwaliteit.
Nee. Ik zeg u. Schreeuw het van u af in uw hoofdkussen. Uw omgeving heeft er geen last van en gijzelve achteraf ook niet. Enkel een gevoel van relief. En zo moet dat. En zo kan je weer verder.

En na de singles van 2009 zijn we beland bij de albums van 2009. Hopla! Een schone lijst, al zeg ik hetzelve. Uiteraard ben ik er waarschijnlijk weer een heleboel vergeten. Daarom zeggen we even 'foei' en daarmee is de kous ook meteen weer af.

Eindejaarslijstjes (deel 1)

Het is wreed, het is wreed! Het einde van het jaar is in inzicht. Ja, inderdaad, weeral! Dat gaat toch ohzo snel zeg. On-ge-lo-fe-lijk! Maar geen gezeur en geen gezever. Het is eindejaarslijstjestijd! En hop we beginnen meteen met de fijnste/mooiste/verslavende/indrukwekkendste plaatjes van het jaar 2009.

Moeilijk moeilijk om ze in een bepaalde volgorde te zetten , maar kijk ja ik zal eens mijn best doen. Nummer 1 ligt al zekers vast. De overigen staan misschien niet helemaal op hun juiste positie, maar dat zijn details mijn tedere lezertjes.

Uit het leven gegrepen: 30 dingen

1 Het is winter, u voelt het en de feestdagen zijn in aantocht, jeej!
2 Maar alstublieft alstublieft alstublieft moeten we echt daarom weer die suïcidale kerstmannen buiten hangen?
3 En neen laat ons nu ook niet gaan overdrijven met kerstverlichting, meneer de buurtbewoner.

5 Dieren hebben mij graag.
6 Ik weet begod niet waarom.
7 Als ik een wei passeer, komen de koeien altijd af gelopen.
8 Katten komen steeds op mijn knie zitten.
9 Honden lopen altijd in volle vitesse mijn richting uit.
10 Ik panikeer dan, want moet niet hebben van grootse hondsbeesten.
11 Die zijn ja zo ... groot.
12 Ik eet wel graag koekjes.
13 Met chocolade.
14 Maar ook zonder chocolade.
15 Ik ben nog steeds op zoek naar een beter classificatiesysteem voor mijn ceedees.
16 Want nu is het nogal zeer onnozel opgesteld.
17 Van wat ik het liefst hoor naar de minder beluisterende albums.
18 Maar ja als ik dan eens een nieuw album koop dat op mijn nummer twee staat, ja, dan heb ik dus een probleem, moet ik alles schoon plaatsje opschuiven.

21 En ik ga blijven zagen tot ik er één heb.
22 En nadien koop ik een ukelele en een mondharmonica.
23 Sterk plan lijkt me dat.
24 Ik heb drie blogvolgers en ben daar uitermate fier op.
25 Een zeer bedanktjewel!.
26 En hopelijk breidt dat aantal zich ook eens uit en misschien kan ik dan de tiende of de vijfde, te zien hoe snel dat het uitbreiden zich voordoet uiteraard, een speciale attentie geven ofzo.
27 Ha! Maar ik zeg lekker nog niet wat *hangt de snoodaard uit*.
28 Mijn inspiratie is de laatste dagen weg.
29 Foetsie! Vertrokken met de noorderzon.
30 En ik weet echt niet waarheen.

Citaten of woordverzamelingen vind ik iets heel boeiends. Wanneer ik fijne uitspraken hier en daar tegenkom (in boeken, in films, ...) pen ik ze neer in mijn boekje. Een schetsboekje dat ik vul met lievelings schilderijtjes, citaatjes, gedichtjes, eigen werkjes, lyrics, schetsjes, ... En met de meeste tekstjes voel ik een iet wat verbondenheid, om het zo te stellen.

Het is hier serieus van den indie folk de laatste tijd. Pas op, neemt u dit nu niet op als een beklag. In tegendeel! Ik ben er enorm blijmoedig van.

Indie folk is a music genre that arose in the 1990s from singer/songwriters in the indie rock community showing heavy influences from folk music scenes of the 50's, 60's and early 70's. A few early artists included Beck, Elliott Smith and Lou Barlow. This genre is often closely related to others including freak folk, psych folk, Baroque pop and New Weird America.[1] This genre has been steadily growing in popularity with bands such as Fleet Foxes, Beirut and Bon Iver. It is also being aided by festivals such as Bonnaroo and Coachella. Other notable acts include The Dodos, Iron and Wine, Mount Eerie, Bright Eyes, Vetiver , Music for Dead Birds, Feist, Damien Rice, Okkervil River, Devendra Banhart, Andrew Bird, Kings of Convenience, DeVotchKa, Cat Power, Hayden, Sufjan Stevens, José González, Robert Francis, Blitzen Trapper, Bishop Allen, M. Van die lijst te zien, valt iemand als ik al eens gemakkelijk van zijn of haar stoel!
